J.R. MAZER

With thirty years of experience as a trusted advisor in Human Resources, Employment and Labor Relations, providing consultation to municipalities, businesses of varying sizes and individual employees, J.R, delivers to his clients the unique insight to understand employment and labor matters from both the employee’s and employer’s perspective.
J.R., who possesses a Law Degree as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, utilizes his educational background to create an interactive approach to his consultation services working closely with both the employer and employees in investigating workplace complaints, training them regarding the interpretation and implementation of workplace policies and resolving workplace disputes.

For several years, he served as a member of the Personnel Board for the Town of Lynnfield where he reviewed and interpreted collective bargaining agreements, interacted and negotiated with labor unions and participated in union grievances.
J.R. also worked as an intern at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination investigating complaints of workplace discrimination. During his time off, J.R. enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids at the beach, boating, skiing and other outdoor activities and is an avid classic car hobbyist.
